Hutt River Grade 3+ White Water Rafting

Service Description

For that added thrill, we've opened up another river for you. Raft through the pristine Kaitoke Regional forest park down a fun filled grade 3+ river. Starting just down the river from Rivendell (LOTR fame) you will be guided by experienced guides who know the river like the back of their hand, and will share stories and the odd joke as you journey through the river. We provide all the gear you will need to keep you warm including wetsuits, splash jackets, life jackets and helmets, and a shuttle back to your car at the end. This river is flow dependent, so if not enough water on your booked day either come up and try our Otaki River trip or you can postpone to another day. Risk Disclosure: Rafting is an adventure activity which involves inherent risk of harm, including serious injury, and drowning. The raft trip you are about to embark on is on a grade 3 river, which is defined as the following: Rapids with fairly high waves (1-2 metres), broken water, stoppers, and strong eddies, exposed rocks and small falls. The passage may be difficult to recognise from the river and manoeuvring to negotiate the rapid is required. A reasonable level of fitness is required and ability to swim is a bonus but not required (but please let the guides know if you are not a good swimmer) Note: Pricing is per person with a minimum of 4 people required for a trip to start.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations after that will result in a 100% fee being charged.
